Lil Uzi The Perfect Luv Tape Download

Considering how Uzi's previous two projects -- last year's Luv Is Rage and April's Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World -- blew up, The Perfect Luv Tape could easily be among the summer's hottest releases.

The Perfect LUV Tape is the fourth mixtape by American rapper Lil Uzi Vert. It was released on July 31, 2016 by Atlantic Records and Generation Now.[5] The album features productions from Cubeatz, Don Cannon, DP Beats, Ike Beatz, Lyle LeDuff, Maaly Raw, Nard & B, Metro Boomin, XL Eagle and Zaytoven. The mixtape is considered a spiritual successor to Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World as it retains subtle references to the mixtape, as well as the graphic novel series Scott Pilgrim, on its cover art. The cover art was created by Eryck Sakutaro. The first letters of the titles of all ten tracks on the mixtape, when arranged in order, spell the word 'Doomsayers'. The song 'Do What I Want' has been featured in the soundtrack for the video game 'NBA 2K18'.

Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World, Lil Uzi Vert's short mixtape debut for major label Atlantic, hadn't run its course by the arrival of the follow-up, The Perfect Luv Tape. 'Money Longer' was in the middle of a lengthy stay on the Billboard Hot 100, and 'You Was Right' had just touched that chart. This like-sized set of marginally lower quality nonetheless preserved the Philadelphian's 2016 commercial presence. Since only a couple months separated the releases, there's not much in the way of stylistic differentiation or development here. The rapper, all bratty swagger, maintains his offhanded approach, coursing through a stream of disconnected lines of taunts and boasts delivered in choppy and singsongy fashion. 'Seven Million,' a straightforward and effective Future collaboration, and 'Original Uzi (4 of Us),' a sharp and fully energized Maaly Raw/Ike Beatz production, are among the notable cuts.
